Ralph “Ralphie” Rego, beloved Maine Coon Cat of Thomas Rego Jr, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge September 23rd.
He leaves behind his grandmother Robin Page; Aunts Sarah and Shanna; Uncle Corey, Great Aunt Linda, and Great Uncle Bobby.
Ralphie was born December 21, 2016 and adopted March 8, 2017, in Providence.
He enjoyed playing with anything he could get his paws on, especially if it moved. He was very curious and had lots of energy. This made anything that moved fair game in his mind.
His best friends were Nya and Lydia. He enjoyed chewing on his toys. He loved to jump on people as they walked by and playing with the bees at the beehives. He hated if someone picked him up by the scruff of his neck. His joy in sleeping was especially great if he could sleep on someone, particularly as a “kitten scarf” draped over someone’s neck. Once he thought it was time to play he would nibble on you. Ralphie had a fondness for chicken treats and Friskies Shreds.
His family remembers when Ralphie caught his first chipmunk, he paraded it all over the house showing it to anyone he could find, even though it was another cat that wounded it for him. He thoroughly enjoyed hiding around a corner, and when we would walk by he would run and jump on our legs. We will always love him and miss his antics.
