Life Story for Thumper Senay

Thumper, age 6 years and 8 months, passed away on August 10th, 2018. Preceded in death by his beloved sister, and best friend, Brownie, he will be deeply missed by his pet parents Julie Senay and Chris Carreiro.

Thumper, a lop bunny with splayed legs, was born November of 2011 at Forever Paws Animal Shelter. Though this special bunny could not hop or move much, his parents Julie Senay and Chris Carreiro loved him, and Thumper was adopted February 14th, 2012.

Thumper, also known as “Mama’s baby boy,” “My little Mama,” and “Thumper Bumper” enjoyed cleaning everything and everyone. He liked kicking and thumping his leg, belly scratches, ear rubs, nuzzlings his cheeks, cuddling, watching everything, and staying up late with his mom. He always liked snacking and playing and watching the Patriots with his Dad.

He loved being snuggled and kissed, his favorite place to sleep was on his Mama, or next to his stuffed dog in his cage. His mom will always remember saying, “Mommy loves you, Thumper, you have these good night, nights.”

When Thumper would eat his favorite foods, parsley and cookies, his sweet little face would become animated! He would eat his food so gentle and dainty, unlike his late sister, Brownie. His least favorite food was blackberries.

Thumper’s life was full of wonderful memories. Trying to put a diaper on him for the first time with all of his fluff is a family favorite. His first bath was an unforgettable time too, and as a baby he once fell into a waste paper basket. His family would go camping and bring him along for walks. He was very curious and loved to look around when he was outside.

Thumper showed an unconditional love to his mom, he would crawl to her just to be next to her when she was sick. His love will always be remembered, treasured, and deeply missed.
