Obituary for Merlin Cabral

Merlin Cabral, beloved husky mix of the Cabral family, passed over the rainbow bridge on April 5th 2018. He leaves behind his human parents, Tim and Kathy Cabral, and his siblings, Emily, Timothy, Jonathan, and Matthew.

Merlin was about 11 years old, had found his family on January 2nd of 2010, and was officially adopted on January 14th of the same year. He will always be remembered for his love of his bone and rope toys, playing in the snow, being pet and pampered, and eating treats. Merlin will also be remembered with love whenever his family comes across the things he disliked as well, thunder, when people wore sleeves with gloves, the vacuum cleaner, the phone ringing, and especially when leaving the house in the morning.

The family has many very special memories with Merlin, some of the important ones are the day he found them playing in the snow, and when they would come home to his happy face and wagging tail. He was a dog who loved his treats and would not let anyone past him without giving him one, though at the words “Good Bye” he would cry and try to beat whoever was leaving to the door because he didn’t want them to go.
